Enhancing Your Space With Wax Melts: A Quick Guide

This quick guide on wax melts will cover everything you need to know to get started with our wax melts, including some tips on how to use them in the best way possible.

What exactly is a wax melt?

Wax melts are an alternative to traditional candles, offering a practical and delightful way to fill your living space with captivating fragrances. Our differently shapes pieces of soy-based wax are designed to be melted in a wax warmer, allowing the fragrance to disperse throughout your home.

What do you need to get started?

To begin your wax melt experience, there are a few items you’ll need: a wax burner, some of our wax melts, and a heat source like a tea light candle.

The wax burner serves as the vessel for melting the wax melts and allowing their delightful aromas to fill the air. Simply place a wax melt in the designated section of the burner. Then, light a tea light candle or another heat source and position it underneath the burner. The gentle heat will gradually melt the wax, releasing its fragrance into your surroundings.

Remember to exercise caution when using wax melts. Choose a stable and heat-resistant surface for the wax burner, keeping it away from anything flammable. It’s essential to monitor the heat source to prevent any accidents and ensure you extinguish the candle once you’ve finished enjoying the inviting scents.

By following these steps, you can effortlessly immerse yourself in the world of wax melts, creating a cozy atmosphere and filling your home with enchanting fragrances.

When do I replace the wax?

When your wax melt has been used for a considerable period and the scent becomes faint, it means that it’s time to change it out. There are many ways to get rid of the wax, and everyone has their own favorite method.

Here are two that you could use:

  1. Light your wax burner just long enough for the wax to become liquid. Once it has, carefully absorb it using cotton balls or a kitchen towel, and proceed to wipe the well. Finally, dispose of the used cotton balls or kitchen towel in your household trash.
  2. Briefly turn on your burner until the wax has slightly softened but remains hardened in one solid piece. Then, simply scoop it out using a spoon or a piece of kitchen towel and dispose of it.

After removing the wax, use either a paper towel or a damp cloth to wipe down the burner dish and remove any residual residue. We do not recommend using cleaning products, as they may emit harmful gases when the burner is in use.
